God in Danger
The Axolotl is an amphibian and a unique specie endemic from Mexico, capable to regenerate almost every part of their body, they became one of the most studied species in the world. Unfortunately through the years their number have dropped dramatically in the wild and now they are considered a critically endangered specie by the IUCN. The main threats they are facing includes habitat loss, water contamination by industry and inclusion of non native species in their habitat. The long-term survival of the axolotl in the wild has now become critical, and demands urgent action to restore the animal’s number and habitat.
